And while we’ve worked with some very large companies, it’s being in the trenches with other business owners that we love the most. Karla began her design career in 1990, Kristen in 1991. Prior to becoming Design Duo, Karla worked as a designer for one of the largest firms in Seattle while Kristen served as marketing director for a custom building and remodeling firm. Both Kristen and Karla share a passion for solution based creative. “Being able to serve effectively means understanding the clients needs and desires, AND knowing how to get things done. Without the ability to execute, the greatest ideas, solutions and creative just don’t matter. It’s about developing a strategy, a design and a game plan to make it all happen.”
